SEEKING INFORMATION
DO NOT APPROACH OR CONTACT INDIVIDUAL • CONSIDERED ARMED AND DANGEROUS

An attempted car-jacking occurred near the 1600 block of E Carla Vista Dr in Gilbert on 2-7-14 at about 0350 hours.  The suspect, described as a Caucasian male, 5'10", 200-220 lbs, dark hair, goatee, wearing white t-shirt, jeans, and a hoodie, threatened the victim with a knife, demanding the victim's vehicle.  After a brief struggle over the suspect's knife, the victim was able to produce his own pocket knife.  The victim stabbed the suspect in the lower right flank area of the suspect's torso (puncture wound approximately 4 inches deep).  The suspect left the scene after being stabbed.

I am requesting all hospitals, clinics, and/or urgent cares to review the wound description and description of suspect and notify the assigned detective of any patients matching this information who were seen between 2-7-14 and 2-10-14.

A court order will be completed for patient's medical records and contact information if/when a viable lead is deveoped.
