On 09/21/2015, at approximately 0050 hours, Daniel Harrington was arrested for several warrants at 2350 West Obispo Avenue, in Gilbert.  During a search incident to arrest of Daniel’s person, a loaded Ruger SR22 handgun with an obliterated serial number was found in the front of his waistband.  Daniel was also wearing a hooded sweatshirt and carrying an orange ski mask at the time he was contacted.  Daniel stated he intended to commit a robbery prior to police contact.  Daniel stated he purchased the handgun from Shawn Connell (DOB:04/25/1979) for one-hundred dollars in mid-August.
